April 1, 2025 - Mar-A-Lago

We drove down to West Palm Beach Airport to drop Lynnette's sister off.  While we were down there we decided to drive by the famous Mar-a-Lago Club Resort, owned by President Trump since 1985.  I had always just assumed it was down by Miami's South Beach.  But no, it is in West Palm Beach, right across South Ocean Blvd from the Atlantic Ocean.

We drove across the bridge over Lake Worth Lagoon from the west and then there Mar-a-Lago was, on the left.

That tower underneath the flag says United States Secret Service.  Security was visible and tight.  Enough said.

Another gate, but nobody's getting through it.

We continued north up South Ocean Blvd and I was amazined by the opulence of the mansions on each side of the road.  This is an affluent area, to put it mildly.
